This program explores how the examination and application of consumer behavior is central to the planning, development, and implementation of successful marketing strategies. The student will develop a variety of useful skills in the areas of brand management, advertising, and consumer research. The course also addresses contemporary trends and issues, including the role of new media and technological advances.
The program provides a comprehensive and hands-on approach to applied market research and the interaction between marketing research decisions and marketing management decisions. The student will be exposed to a practical six-step framework for conducting marketing research, utilizing a variety of marketing companies to highlight qualitative and quantitative research strategies.
